  • A trajectory across every attempt
  • For the manager, a Ren summary of each responder and a team report
  • Scored against published frameworks: the National Decision Model, the Incident Command System, Boyd's OODA loop, Klein's recognition-primed decision-making, Tyler's procedural justice, Rest's four-component model and source-monitoring research

How the program works

Three weeks, two simulation rooms a week, built from the responder's real role, service and jurisdiction, and retaken as often as they want. Run it by weekly assignment, as onboarding, ongoing, facilitator-led, or for a client.

The rooms

Why this program exists

Officers and responders work in high-stress, high-stakes situations where a mistake costs lives. This program prepares them through simulation. Ren builds each scene from the responder's real role, service and jurisdiction, and plays every person in it, so every scenario is new, adjusting according to each response.

What you'll achieve

  1. Rehearsal of a full scene, from arrival to handover, as often as they want it: the subject who turns, the incident that scales, the trade-off, the ethical line, the panel afterwards
  2. A scored report after every room: the scenario as it played, each dimension with the moment that earned its score, what worked, the risk signals, strengths, development areas, blind spots where the evidence shows them, and one recommended focus with a first step for this week and a signal to check in thirty days
  3. Unlimited attempts at every room, each a different scene calibrated to their current role, scored on the same dimensions and charted against every attempt before it, for as long as they are in the service

At a glance

Who it's for
Police officers of every rank, paramedics and ambulance crews, fire and rescue crews, social workers, crisis and outreach teams, emergency call handlers and crisis helpline staff, custody and community officers, control-room staff and emergency management leads. Every room calibrates to role, seniority and service type, so one team can include every rank and more than one service. It assumes participants already hold their operational training. It rehearses the judgement that training is applied with, and scores it the same way every time.
