Why this program exists
People who sit on interview panels decide who joins the organisation, with a guide they read the night before and a candidate who has rehearsed. The confident candidate beats the capable one when the follow-up question is not asked, and the panel's view forms on how the last ten minutes felt. This program prepares them through simulation. Ren builds each scene from the interviewer's real role, the stage they will sit and the organisation's own interview guide, and plays every person in it: the candidate, the hiring manager who has already decided, the reviewer with the file open.
What you'll achieve
- Rehearsal of the interview and what follows it, as often as they want: the candidate, the hiring manager who has decided, the request to bend the process, and the review afterwards
- A scored report after every room: each dimension with the moment that earned its score, strengths, development areas, blind spots where the evidence shows them, and one recommended focus with a first step
- A recommendation written from the interview in three lines, each resting on an answer they heard, the shape of every recommendation they write on a real panel
- Unlimited attempts at every room, each a different scene for their current role and stage, scored on the same dimensions and charted against every attempt before it
At a glance
- Who it's for
- Everyone who sits on an interview panel: hiring managers, team members drafted onto interview loops, senior leaders who sit final rounds, and recruiters who run screening and reference checks. It is assigned by an HR lead, a head of talent or a facilitator, and the manager's lines in this guide are for whoever that is. It assumes a written interview guide or scorecard exists. It rehearses the judgement the guide is applied with, and scores it the same way every time.

Session by session
1
Week 1: Command of the interview guide
Know the interview guide well enough to explain it, apply it to a role they have not interviewed for, and say where it stops.
2
Week 2: Interviewing for evidence
Interview a candidate at the stage they are about to sit, ask for evidence, follow up when an answer is thin, and write a recommendation that rests on what they heard.
3
Week 3: Defending a recommendation · Holding the process
Hold a recommendation against a hiring manager who has decided otherwise, on evidence
4
Week 4: Accounting for a decision
Answer a reviewer's questions about a panel decision directly, accurately and from the file, and say plainly what the notes do not record.
